A young biosciences student from Michoacán, Sofía is passionate about health, space and science. A winner of the 2025 International Air and Space Program, she trained as an astronaut and developed an AI platform during the weeklong program with her team. She's currently an intern at a CAR-T cell leukemia research project at TecSalud, seeking to make this treatment more accessible and affordable. A member of the 5th generation cohort of the ITESM's Eugenio Garza Sada leadership program, the social initiatives she leads seek to improve the public's quality of life through innovation.
